Selection guidelines for presenters

The next June 2024, a truly diverse and outstanding cercle of TALENT will meet in Port Aventura Conference Center (Catalonia) to encourage our society to achieve the real inclusion of diversity in the open labor market, following the principles of equality, dignity, and sustainability. All our experience, all our knowledge and the common principles we share will be an excellent starting point to continue working on the Supported Employment. This wonderful expertise will enable us to move forward to the future. A future with real opportunities, developed in creative businesses and innovative societies.

We would like to invite you all to join us living this new adventure, where no one will be left behind:  People with Disabilities, Companies and Employers, SE Service Providers and other NGOs, public employment services, policy makers, government agencies, academics, and researchers. All these actors will get together to share their innovative and good/excellent practices, wills, knowledge, skills, and expertise on a range of themes intended to promote the best practice approaches in Supported Employment and work inclusion strategies.

Therefore, all of you are invited to participate with your contributions in the 15th European Supported Employment Conference. All the proposals must contribute to build strategic alliances and ways of joint creation between the different actors, as a basis to develop safe working environments and inclusive business.

The aim of the presentations is to explore forward-thinking, innovative, and creative approaches in the evolution of Supported Employment, emphasizing the future landscape but keeping all the original principles of Supported Employment. We look for co-creation of the best solutions to answer the new opportunities and challenges that the future will bring. Presenters are encouraged to seize this opportunity to contribute insights into novel knowledge, practices, skills, and perspectives. The focus is on effective strategies to empower individuals in selecting, acquiring, and sustaining employment, with an emphasis on enhancing employers' inclusion resources in the evolving employment landscape.

All the proposals must consider a Person-centered approach, considering diversity, with flexible and quality supports on the workplace, during all the life cycle. The talent we promote is indeed a great factor of social change, with this talent we aim to boost actions based on the Human Rights Model of Disability, to achieve an active and equal role for people with disabilities in our societies.

Presenters should be prepared to involve conference participants to critically reflect on the workshop contents and suggest the next steps that should be explored within your workshop theme. Participants expect to take new learning back with them from your session.
